Lonely Nights, Lonely Days

So many lonely nights
I spend thinking to myself
Wondering where my special love is
To free me from this hell

I am tired of the tears
Tired of running from all my fears
Crying in the lights of the city nights
I can’t run anymore
There is no place left for me to hide

She is out here I know she is
One day she will free me
With just one simple kiss
Until then…….
Sidewalk puddles ripple my reflection
Softly splashing my life away
Wondering where that special love is
To end these lonely days
