I got your letter today
the one that didn’t say much of anything
not that you say much anymore anyway
but I was surprised to see
that you were to busy
to say I LOVE YOU to me
why should you?
you don’t need me anymore
you have moved on to new things, to better things
and apparently that doesn’t include me
I got your letter today
and I placed it with the rest of the emptiness
that you left me with
