In The Shadow of an Angel

and there she was
right out of nowhere
wearing an angel’s smile on her face
walking like she was dancing
on a stage made of clouds
a scent of heaven
lingered in her shadow
which I kindly took to breath
my eyes followed her every movement
my body followed her every step
killing time to the beat of my heart
lost in her wake
I open to a dream
only to taste love on her lips
and my soul explodes in her kiss
as forever drips down
in the color of harmony
