Last night I drank enough to drown
\nand I know you will never come back around
\nso I drink, lost in the memory
\nof you and me
\nknowing how much our love seems to hurt
\nknowing that no one is to blame
\nknowing pain always follows love
\nand thats something we just can’t avert
\nI twist each lost thought into nonsense sentences
\nstruggling for the right words say
\nbut words just lose their meaning
\nwhen you feel this empty inside
\nand I find myself lying naked on the floor
\nreaching for your old bathrobe
\nyou left hanging on the bathroom door
\nshivering hands shaking, feeling the cold of an open window
\nthe rain is pouring down hard and I shiver where I stand
\nEach drop that falls I feel echoing in my heart
\nand I see your face staring at my window
\nwith a wet suitcase in your hand<\/p>\n
