I stand before the growing clouds
\nAlone fearing only the worst

\nFrom the east I can smell the rain
\nI can see you from afar
\nAnd already I can feel the pain
\nI will pray for this storm

\nMizzle, drizzle, soaking little downpour

\nYou will break my heart like you did before
\nBut my perception of precipitation
\nBegs me to leave your clutching hands
\nThere’s nothing more you can ever say

\nBut the memories will always be

\nAnd in this sadness I now see
\nThat its better to have a loved and lived
\nWith a broken heart
