Can you feel my breath
up and down your neck?
I know you are asleep
But I can see the tingles dance all over your back
I move closer and softly whisper in your ear
I am tired of this battle year after year
I want to be your one and only
the one you feel next to you at night
I want to be the only one you see
I feel the heat of your body it keeps me warm
I am lost in your scent
and how it makes me both weak and drunk
But the distance that you keep
is farther and farther than the day before
even though my love for you
grows each day, more and more
I slide my hand up and down your chest
and I am obsessed
with the softness of your skin
As you lay there and calmly rest
my fingers slowly trace
every single line and curve on your face
I wrap my leg around yours
And pray I can remove her out of your dreams
make her disappear
and I want you to whisper only my name as we make love tonight
I want only you, not this ghost of us
that has come in between us
A vision I wish you could see
every time you close your eyes<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Yes I can feel your breath on my neck
You know how I love it when you do that
and how it sends tingles up and down my back
I’m awake, but pretend to sleep
when you whisper me softly, all of your dreams
I cannot think of another person
that I would ever want to wake up beside
and if all goes as planned
we will be together until the day we die
I know you are nervous when you see me this stressed
but sometimes I have a lot on my mind
and I don’t want to seem so obsessed
I sometimes fear that I will scare you away
if I were to tell you all the things my heart wants to say
it’s just that I love you more and more
and twice as much as the day before
I don’t mean to be distant
I don’t want anything to come between us
just know that you are my one and only
know how proud and lucky I feel
and with you in my heart, I never be lonely
I dare not to think
about not having you in my life
because every time I close my eyes
I see only you, my beautiful wife<\/p>\n\n\n\n
