with vegetation
not for the way we taste
but because we survive off of each others waste
carbon based byproducts we eagerly suck at
involuntarily as we land dwelling mammals, sea swimming animals
breathe our daily supply of oxygen, taken internal
like a steam factory, boiling itself into carbon dioxide
and I see the happy little plants delight
as they process it back inside
displaying the ultimate automation of natural recyletation
I envy you, the way you sit in the sun
tiny little veins filled with chlorophyll
producing your own food
you truly are cool
